Pumpkin Spice Product Reviews

Pumpkins Here, Pumpkins There…Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere!

No seriously, have you guys been to the store lately?!

There’s something about the seasons changing that is so refreshing and exciting. While doing my weekly Saturday morning Sprouts shopping, I realized how many pumpkin spice items they were offering. There was everything from almond milk, to oatmeal, to pumpkin spice pasta sauce. This got me really pumped for Fall and inspired me to do a review of the various pumpkin spice products.

I know some people think the whole pumpkin spice thing is overrated, but I love it! So this week I purchased five pumpkin flavored items that are also vegan of course.

Califia Pumpkin Spice Coffee
First of all, I am a sucker for quality packaging. The design of this bottle and the color scheme really attracted me to the product. Might be weird, but it works! This has a frappuccino texture to it and kind of reminds me of eggnog (Christmas seasonal drink). I am not a huge fan of coffee because hot tea is my thing. So this is not something I would be able to drink a lot of, but I could definitely seeing coffee lovers indulging in this Fall drink. In my opinion, it is more like a flavored milk. I think this would make a great alternative to a coffee creamer. In fact, my sister actually uses Califia’s flavored vegan coffee creamers and she really enjoys them.

Pumpkin Spice Fall Products
There’s no such thing as pumpkin overload, right?!

Pumpkin Spice Products

Sprouts Pumpkin Snaps
These are basically the Fall version of ginger snaps or Vanilla Wafers. When I first bought these I thought I wouldn’t like the crispiness since I typically prefer softer cookies. However, these are not as crisp as regular ginger snaps which is great for me! I really enjoy these as a quick dessert type snack. I am thinking of using these to make a pie crust or as a topping on a dessert. If I come up with something, I’ll be sure to share it here!

Sprouts Pumpkin Tortilla Chips
I can be pretty picky when it comes to chips just because I’m extremely sensitive to salt. Most chips are way too salty and end up overpowering the flavor of the chip. These chips are definitely not drenched in salt and have a wholesome taste. You actually feel healthy eating them because you can see the seeds and grains in the chips. It also pairs very well with the Sprouts pumpkin salsa (cue next title…).

Sprouts Pumpkin Salsa
Since I got tortilla chips I figured I’d try out the pumpkin salsa too. This week for my dinner meals I’m having soft tacos and it goes with that as well. This is the one item I knew might take some getting used to because I’m not used to a sweet flavored salsa. With the Sprouts pumpkin tortilla chips, it was a great combination. I preferred the salsa with the chips over having it in my soft taco just because it takes some adjusting. However, it was still good and not as strange as I thought it would be as it is not an overpowering pumpkin flavor.

Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter
This pumpkin spice peanut butter is great with apple slices and rice cakes!

Peanut Butter and Co pumpkin spice peanut butter
I recently started my addiction to Peanut Butter and Co’s amazing variety of peanut butters. My favorite right now is the Cinnamon Raisin one, but when my sister pointed out the Pumpkin Spice peanut butter I knew I had to give it a try. I typically put my peanut butter on rice cakes or apple slices. This brand of peanut butter is very smooth. The pumpkin spice flavor is very subtle at first, but you can definitely taste it after a few bites. So if you like pumpkin, but just not an overpowering amount, this peanut butter would be a great option. This would also be another product I’d like to use to come up with some sort of sweet treat!
